QPoint

QPoint is a mobile instrument for field or lab use. The product to be measured is placed on the measuring point of the instrument and light penetrates far into the product and is thereafter measured. Fat, pigment and moisture can be measured. Each measurement takes less than one second.

QPoint truly brings laboratory measurements into the field. Measurements that earlier required destruction of the product as well as lengthy and costly laboratory measurements can now be done rapidly and non-destructive in the field. This enables a new way of thinking regarding monitoring. In the example of fish, it is now possible to sample hundreds of alive fish in a day without additional costs. Comparing this to killing the fish and sending it to the laboratory, it is easy to understand the benefits of this unique instrument.
