QVision technology profiled in Animalia newsletter

The Norwegian Meat and Poultry research centre, Animalia, profiled QVision’s technology in its autumn newsletter 2009. The article describes the system in used to automate deboning and cutting lines.

QVision is part of a large research project called MeatVision. The article describes how the QMonitor system has been further developed and trailed to fat measurements in trimmings and how this will enable automatic sorting of trimmings based on fat content. As part of the MeatVision project the systems has been trailed both for pork and beef trimmings yielding very promising results.
